Copyright Email

1/10/2015
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a Media Studies A-Level student from Brixham College. As part of my Media Coursework, I have to create a music video using music from a contemporary artist.
Therefore, I am writing to you to seek copyright permission for the use of 'Weathered' by Jack Garratt. This music video would purely be used for educational purposes as part of my Media course.
The music video would be uploaded to a blog (blogger.com) which would be viewed by my teacher and the examiner however, the public can also access my blog.
If required, I can include a full copyright notice in both the planning and the music video itself. The artist and copyright holder will receive full recognition throughout the production and evaluation of my video.
I hope that you will grant permission for me to use this song for my video. If I do not hear back from you, I will assume that the copyright permission is granted as I understand that as the world's leading music company you are extremely busy.
Thank you for taking your time to read my email.
Yours sincerely,
Lorna Maddison
Brixham College Sixth Form.
